2017 Honda Fit Tongue Weight Rating

Im seeing 2 different tongue load capacities. Can you clarify which weight is the correct measure?

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 306-X7273 is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Honda Fit. The hitch receiver has an independent tongue weight rating of 300 lbs so that number would be what to go from unless your vehicle would surpass the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating found on the label of the driver's doorjamb. On page 86 of the online owners manual it states this.
