Replacement Leaf Springs for Trailer with 2,500 lb Axles

Question:

Hello, I have a 2000 Tracker Marine single axle boat trailer with a GAWR of 2500 lbs and max load carrying capacity of 2000 lbs. Im searching for new leaf springs as they are very corroded. My father-in law took off the springs without measuring them while on the trailer. The spring measures 25-3/4inch eye to eye while off the trailer. On the trailer, the hanger and shackle mounting holes are 25-1/2inch apart, center to center. The hanger measures 3-1/4inch long center to center. What length of spring do I need to purchase? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

The most ideal leaf spring we have for you is the part # e66SR which is rated for a 2,500 lb axle. It's a little short for your application though at 25-1/8 inches. Ideally you'd have a spring just a little longer than 25-1/2 inches since that's distance between your hanger bolts.

So what this means is that you'd need a new hanger kit too like with the part # APS4.
