Can Yakima BigStack be Used to Transport Paddle Board Vertically
Question:
Hey team, Ive got a yakima aero rack system on top of my canopy of my truck with 2 yakima front loaders, on on each side, that I use for my bikes. Im wondering if this can mount a paddle board straight up/down in between the bike racks. Based on the measurements it would fit but would it be secure? What are your thoughts? Thanks!

When it comes to transporting a paddleboard you will want to carry it flat to best protect it. Since the Yakima BigStack # Y04041 would mean you have to carry it on it's side I recommend using a kit like the 33-1/2" Long Rhino-Rack Surfboard and SUP Pads w/ Tie-Downs # RRRWP05 instead. This is a simple application and it will take up less space than a whole carrier that sits wider than the paddle board itself. You can try putting your bike racks next to each other and face one towards the rear of the vehicle to try to make some more space on your crossbars.
I've attached a review video that you can check out.
