Using Smaller Wheels/Tires on a Two PWC Trailer  

Question:

I have a Dual PWC Trailer that will be hauling two Heavy waverunners. Present tires on dual trailer are, 205/75R14. Can I use can I use 175/75R13?? Thank You.

You certainly can. As long as the combined load rating of the 2 tires exceed the weight of the trailer and the waverunners/gear loaded on it, you'll be just fine.

The Kenda # AM31952 175/80-13 Load Range C tire you'd looked at would work great as long as your trailer and wave runners didn't weigh more than 2720 lbs. The tire is mounted on a 13 inch galvanized rim with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. You can confirm the current loaded weight of your trailer at a truck stop scale or the scale at a material supply store.

Going with the smaller tire will lower your ride height by about 1 inch, which should present any problems.
