Solution for Replacement Axle on Jet Ski Trailer
Question:
Hello! I need to replace my jet ski trailer axle but not sure which axle to purchase. My current axle info is 5 bolt x 4.5. The current axle is square in shape/1.5 wide sitting on the leaf springs. The spacing distance between the bolts that connect to the leaf springs are 41 inches apart. Is this something you would have available? Thank you!

I do have a solution, but you will need to find your axle capacity in order to choose the correct replacement. Unfortunately, the diameter on a square axle does not indicate the capacity. If you let me know which bearings you have then it is possible to narrow it down and find out, or you may have information on your axle tag.
Since we do not have axles that are that size, your only option would be to use the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System like the # ASR2000S01. This will replace your axle and also upgrade/replace your suspension system on the trailer. This is a universal system so it fits any frame width.
If you find that you have a 2,000 lb axle using # L44649 inner and outer bearings then you would be able to use the # ASR2000S01 as a replacement. If that is not the case, you can match your bearings to the correct system for your trailer.
I have attached some review and installation videos along with a link to all of the Timbren Axle-Less systems that you can check out.
