Will the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs for a 2019 Toyota Tundra Work With Bilstein Shocks

Question:

I replaced my stock shocks with Bilstein 5100 shocks on my 2019 Tundra. There is about 1.5” more suspension travel with the Bilstein’s over stock. Will this added suspension travel damage the airbag when the suspension is fully extended?

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2445 are a great option for a 2019 Toyota Tundra. In regards to suspension travel, the leaf springs which attach the axle to the frame would not allow for enough travel to damage the air bags. The stroke of the shock absorbers would not be an issue at all. Furthermore, the crimp rolled design of these airbags allows them to withstand far more abuse off-road.
