2007 Ford F150 Using Tekonsha P3 Need Titan BrakeRite EHB Adapter

Question:

2007 Ford F150 with tow package Brake controller is a Tekonsha P3 My trailer has. Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes. Titan BrakeRite EHB Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controllers. My question is when I set up the P3 do I brake type as electric or Hydraulic? The pump only seems to activate when electric is used.

Actually your Prodigy P3 brake controller # 90195 is compatible as-is with electric-over-hydraulic brakes and would not need an adapter. You would just need to select electric over hydraulic and it should work well for you without the adapter.

The reason it only works when you put it on electric mode right now is because that is the style of controller the actuator is designed to work with. This is because it is normally used on factory brake controllers which are designed to be used on electric brakes.
