What is Fulton Lock # FSTL0603 Made Of and How To Prevent Theft of Fulton Tire Carrier # FSTC1000301

I am assuming this lock is made out of steel so it would be hard to break? When I receive it, I will install it on the Fulton Tire Carrier FSTC1000301. The wheel is now locked, but what about the carrier itself? They can easily take off the 4 bolts holding the carrier to the tongue and take the whole assembly. Has anybody asked this and what have they done to prevent it?

Yes , the Fulton Spare Tire Lock, part # FSTL0603, is made of a hardened steel, which is very hard to cut or break.

You can install the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier, part # FSTC1000301, using a Loctite Threadlocker, part # LT37423. This is a liquid that will lock the nuts to the bolts and prevent anybody from removing them. To disassemble the nuts and bolts will require the use of heat.

Making it time consuming for the thieves to take your item is the best deterrent against theft.

The only way to attach a Thule roof rack to your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hardtop is going to be with a gutter mount solution like the #TH711500 and #TH65BJ. There isn't a way to adapt a Traverse foot to the hardtop of your Wrangler.
