Do 5th Wheel Base Rails and Hitch on 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 Increase Towing Capacity

2016 Silverado, 5.3 eco. If I use one of your 5th wheel Systems,,, Does it increase my towing capacity?

A fifth wheel hitch and installation kit will not increase the towing capacity of your 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500.

So even if you installed the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit with Base Rails # RP50064-58 with Reese Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30051 (short bed) or the fixed Reese 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30047 (long bed) the towing capacity of your Silverado would remain the same. There are no aftermarket parts that will allow you to increase your towing capacity.
