Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a Toyota Prius to allow Cargo Area Access
Question:
Which Prius hitch will allow for installation of a bike rack that can remain in place while the hatch is opened?

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 24847 that you referenced would be an excellent choice for a hitch as long as your Toyota Prius fits the year range of 2010-2012.
And then for a bike rack that will allow you to have access to the rear of your vehicle I would recommend you get a Thule T2 Pro XTR Platform-Style 2 Bike Carrier # TH23JV. This bike rack can should clear your hatch allowing it to open and can tilt so that even if you have bikes loaded on your vehicle you could tilt the rack and have access to the rear of your vehicle.
Check out the video I attached.
