Recommended Replacement ST235/80r16 Load Range E Trailer Tires

Question:

researching the puma it said should be a 15 inch. On the side of the trailer it said 16 inch. We would have about 2 inches between the front and back tire is this enough space. We have plenty of height room. We want to stay with the 16 inch tire is this safe. Bought 5th wheel 2nd owner. Tires on it are 235/80r16 E. We had a blow out and want to replace it.

The 16 inch tire will be safe. The clearance between the fenders is more important for the suspension movement but there won't be enough front to back to have an issue with tires 2 inches apart at rest.

For your replacement I recommend the Taskmaster Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # TTWTRTM2358016E. This tire is rated for 3,520 lbs at 80 psi and speeds up to 81 mph. It comes with a 2 year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
