Do you Recommend a Fifth Wheel or Goosebox if I Plan on Switching Campers

Question:

We have a 2020 F350 DRW Longbed truck with the OEM puck system. We are planning on a starterfoot fifth wheel soon with the a reasonable expectation to grow into a larger trailer if/when we replace it. The starter trailer will be a good size - likely around 16k GVWR. The replacement trailer could be in excess of 20K. I had been leaning towards a Reese Goosebox, but it looks as if the Gen2 Goosebox would be maxed out most likely with our replacement trailer. With the 16k trailer, which would be better, the Goosebox or the BandW Companion? With the 20K trailer, it would be the BandW over the Goosebox - yes? Thanks for the insight.

You're right on track here! I think the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package part # BWRVK3305 is definitely the way to go. Doing it this way you will not have to worry about your next camper having the same model of pin box to ensure the Goosebox will work.

Check out the video my buddy Shane did on this going into a 2019 Ford F-350 for you to see exactly how it installs and operates.
