On the Tekonsha Primus, # TK90160, the SH error message means that the brake controller is sensing a short on the brake wire (blue) when at idle. The instructions I have linked also state that some test lights and non-Tekonsha testers can cause this problem.
The most likely cause is a dirty or corroded trailer connector. Inspect the truck and trailer side connectors for dirt and corrosion. Also check where the wires attach to the back of the connectors. On the trailer check the main ground and brake magnet grounds to make sure they are attached to clean and corrosion free bare metal surfaces. Make sure there are no nicks in the wiring touching bare metal on the trailer.
You can also test the magnets by following the FAQ I have linked for you.
