Today we're going to take a quick look at the Cable Clamp. This is going to help you get any cables or wires hooked up to your trailer and run securely. It keeps them from dragging on the ground or going over any kind of sharp edges. It just helps to make that wiring overall easier to do, and more secure, so you don't have any shorts or cuts in your line. This is going to be a nice clamp to use, especially on boat trailers or anywhere that you're going to be encountering a lot of moisture. Since it's made of just a natural white nylon, that's better than the typical rubber coated steel that can tend to rust out over time.

This will still be durable enough to hold up all your wires or your cables, but you won't have to worry about it rusting out and getting the rest of your trailer rusty.It's just an easy to use system, we'll have our opening here on the one side. So whenever you got your cable running through, if it's a thicker cable you can clamp that down and attach it using a number ten screw into the frame of your trailer or to a secure location. It doesn't come with any screws so you will have to pick those up on your own. You can find a lot of options out there from your local hardware store, different lengths and things like that. As far as the dimensions, whenever it's closed that inner diameter is seven eighths of an inch, it's a little hard to see here.

But seven eighths of an inch will be the inner diameter, the width of the strap is about half an inch. That mounting hole diameter is about three sixteenths of an inch. You should be able to get all your wires run securely and then clamp down properly.That's going to do it for our look at the Cable Clamp in white nylon.
