Will Universal MightyMounts Fit with Mako Saddles on 2008 Toyota Sequoia OEM Roof Rack
Question:
I need help selecting the oval mount for my 2008 Toyota Sequoia with stock roof rails. I am mounting my old Yakima Mako Saddles for my kayak and it only has the saddle round mounts. I have an old Yakima Ski rack that has a mount that fits and the oval hole is 2.5inch W x 0/75inch H. I included a pic for reference but I need the MightyMount version of that size for my Yakima Mako. Thanks

I reached out to my contact at Yakima who said that the Universal MightyMounts # Y03590 will work with your old Mako Saddles. He did say that when you install them that you will need to install them using the holes that are lined up.
You will need to use all 4 of these clamps for your 2 Mako Saddles so you'll need a second set of the MightyMounts for the part of the kayak on your other 2008 Toyota Sequoia crossbar.
