The Nissan Xterra roof rack is unique because of its size. There isn't a directly compatible option for your carrier, so you will need to first use a compatible roof rack. My recommendation for that is the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 43" Long - Qty 2 # TH711120 and Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401.
The Inno Locker Watersport Carrier - Locking - Channel Mount - 1 Boat or 2 Boards # INXA445 or the Clamp On # INA446 are the options I recommend you consider. If you want more separation between your boards you can use the kayak carriers like # S512 or a couple of the # e98878.
