Parts Needed to Wire 12 V Power Lead on 2007 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I am installing a trailer hitch on my 2007 Sienna. I intend to tow a small pop-up tent trailer that uses a factory 7 way standard connector. The tent trailer does not have brakes, does require power from the tow vehicle in order to charge the trailer battery and run the fridge while its being towed. All of the harness options Im getting from your website for my tow vehicle provide a 4 way flat connector. Do you offer a harness that will allow me to plug into the 7 way connector on my tent trailer?

I do have a solution, but there isn't a plug and play wiring harness that will provide you with the 7-way you're looking for and that you need to connect to your pop-up camper.
If you don't already have a 4-pole flat on the Sienna, you'll need to start out by installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118304. From there, you can use a 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole adapter, like part # 37185. Since your don't plan on using a brake controller, you can simply run your 12V hot lead from the adapter to the Sienna's battery using wire # 12-1-1 (sold by the foot) and install a 40 amp circuit breaker # 9510 in line.
You can simply ground the white wire and tape off the blue (brake circuit) and purple (reverse circuit) wires on the adapter to keep them out of the way.
