Surge Brake Actuator Repair for Titan Drum Brake Actuating Coupler

Question:

Thanks for getting back to me. The info you provided is great. A final question…As I mentioned in my initial email, what do you have for a repair kit for the actual wheel drum hydraulic brakes? Thanks Again

Thanks for the photos. It is clear you have a Titan brake actuator like the Brake Actuator with Manual Lockout - Bolt On - Drum - 2" Ball - 7,500 lbs # T63FR. It sounds like you need the Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan/UFP Brake Actuators - Drum Brakes # TK71-756-00 or Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Titan Model 60 and Aero 7500 Brake Actuators - Drum
# T4395100. Based on your photos it also looks like you need the Replacement Roller/Pin/Pad Kit for Titan/UFP Brake Actuators # TK71-759-00 and the Replacement Shock Absorber Spring Kit for Titan/UFP Brake Actuators # TK71-758-00 to return from the compressed state to pulling without resistance.

The wheel cylinder you need will depend on the drum size. I've linked the page to your options. You will also need to determine the brake shoes based on the size and shape. The Replacement Push Rod for Titan Wheel Cylinders # T0978300 and the springs will also be needed. Because of all the parts it is often more cost efficient to replace the entire assembly. I've linked that page to help as well.
