Recommended Bike Carrier That Can Be Used as a 2 Bike and 4 Bike Carrier

I’m looking for bike rack that can be converted to more bikes. Currently have 2 adult bikes and 1 16” toddler bike. Anyway to convert a 4 bike Hitch to a 3 or 2 or vise versa? Thank you,

It sounds like you're looking for something similar to the Curt 4 Bike Platform Rack - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting # C18087, which can be used as both a 2 bike rack and a 4 bike rack as long as you've got a 2" hitch receiver on your vehicle. In order to carry any bikes with aggressive step throughs or kids bikes, you would need to use a bike adapter bar like the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005.
This Curt rack also tilts away from the rear of your vehicle to allow access to the cargo area, even with the bikes loaded, which is a great feature when taking the family out for a ride. This rack comes with locks for the bikes, and an anti-rattle hitch pin.
