The Hopkins Multi-Tow trailer connector you referenced will fit a 2003-2007 Tundra, but not a Tacoma.
If your Tacoma does not already have a functional 4-pole trailer connector like part # 118496, one will need to be added. From there, you can use a 4-pole to 7-way adapter # 37185. If your trailer does not have brakes and you do not need an accessory 12-volt circuit to provide power for any trailer mounted accessories that might need it, this set-up would work great for you.
If your trailer has brakes and you want them to actuate, you will need to install a brake controller. I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. You would also need our Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7. The kit contains everything needed to install a brake controller, including the # 37185 adapter I mentioned above.
For details regarding how to install the controller take a look at our Brake Controller Installation FAQ article. You can see it by clicking on the provided link. I have also linked you to some installation videos that you might find helpful.
