Will TST TPMS for RVs Work With Rubber Valve Stems and Steel Valve Extensions

Question:

#1. I have a 26 foot Mercedes Interstate 3500 Class B RV. All Valve stems are rubber. On the internal real wheels, I have added 6 inch steel valve extensions for easy tire pressure access with rubber rim stabilizers 3.5x1.5 inch hole on each wheel. #2. My outside rear tires have 90-degree steel valve extensions on the rubber valves - so I am wondering if this also might be an issue? Safe to add the TST systems to my RV?

I reached out to the manufacturer, TST, for you about the TST TPMS for RVs - 6 Tire Sensors # TST-507-RV-6-C and TST TPMS for RVs - 6 Flow Through Tire Sensors # TST-507-FT-6-C.

I was told that for your set up, with rubber valve stems and steel valve extensions the system you will need is the TST TPMS for RVs - Color Display - Signal Booster - 6 Tire Sensors # TST-507-RV-6-C.

These are safe for use with your steel valve extensions and rubber valve stems. They told me that the flow-through sensors are slightly heavier and longer, and can eventually damage or crack rubber valve stems. I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
