How To Setup a 2018 Toyota Corolla SE Manual for Flat-Towing
Question:
Hi: were putting together the stuff we need to flat tow our new to us 2018 Toyota Corolla. My question involves the Push to Start ignition. After reading thru the Corolla manual, I cant quite figure out how to unlock the steering wheel - and leave it unlocked for towing - without the ignition being in full Accessory mode and running down the cars battery. Any thoughts? Thank you.

In regards to setting up a vehicle for flat-towing, you'll need to refer to the owner's manual as this is not something we can advise on. If you need clarification on the owner's manual, you'd need to reach out to the manufacturer.
In order to flat-tow a 2018 Toyota Corolla you'll need a base plate, tow bar, flat-tow wiring harness, and supplemental braking system. I have attached my recommendation for each of the following below.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-521194-5
Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-676
Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit part # RM-154
Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System part # BLU37TR
