Does ETBC7L Have a Reset Switch
Question:
What happens if the circuit breaker trips? Is there a reset? Also, do you have any videos available or instructions to actually connect to the car battery? I dont see anything about that on the customer postings. I see how they mounted the circuit breaker but I dont see how they connected to the battery. If my Subaru has a 12 Volt accessory plug in the cargo area of the hatch can I use that as a power supply instead? Thank you!

The 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L does not have a reset switch. There are no videos but the 12 volt wire will simply be routed underneath your vehicle in a route of your choosing. The 12 volt accessory plug cannot be used as a power supply it does need to be powered directly to the vehicle battery. Attempting to use the 12 volt accessory plug can potentially interfere with the electrical systems of your vehicle, which you want to avoid, and can do so via routing the 12 volt power wire to the battery. The linked video review does show an example of routing the power wire.
The 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L is used for wireless brake controllers, the best of which is the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180.
