Are Longer ZipStrips Available for Yakima SpareRide 2 Bike Rack
Question:
I have a Yakima Spare Ride bike rack. The straps are too short. Do you sell anything aftermarket that would give us another inch that will fit into this rack?

I believe you are talking about the ZipStrip Straps for Yakima SuperCush Bike Rack Cradles # 8880566 that come with the Yakima SpareRide 2 Bike Rack # Y02599. These are no longer available.
Unfortunately there are not straps that are longer so if your bike has a thicker frame that these can't accommodate then we need to look into either using an adapter bare like the Yakima # Y02531 or getting a hitch mount rack. For your application I'd recommend the Kuat Pivot 2 Swing Away Hitch Extender # PVP20B and the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G which secures bikes by the wheel instead of the frame.
