Can Weight Distribution System Be Left Attached to Travel Trailer and Not Tow Vehicle?
Question:
Can I leave my weight distributing travel trailer attached at the ball and disconnect the trailer by removing the hitch head instead of going thru the method of removing the head and spring bars.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Removing the tension from your spring bars should be done everytime you disconnect your trailer. You can remove the shank from your receiver and leave it with the coupler, but tension on the bars should be released.
