Can the Redline 2-Piece Trailer Vent for 3 Inch Diameter Holes Be Mounted Facing Forward

I was wondering if this vent can be mounted facing into the wind. All the photos show it facing down. 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3 Diameter Hole - Black Item # HMAV2-AVT2

I don't see any reason why you can't install the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3" Diameter Hole - Black # HMAV2-AVT2 with the vent oriented facing the direction of travel, but you may experience issues with water getting into the vent that way. The vent cover has a slotted design that is meant to face downward to avoid water getting into it and pooling up, so I would recommend drilling a small drain hole in the down facing side to avoid this.
You will also need to make sure that the interior vent is oriented correctly to fit the outer portion for this to work properly.
