Do Half Moon Trailer Vents Need to be Installed Facing Down or Back
Question:
Ive looked at all your instruction to install the vent with the flat side on the bottom but after looking at most of the new Enclosed trailers manufactures, they always install these with the flat side facing the back of the trailers. To me, this makes total sense but Id like your opinion on installing this vent with the flat side on the bottom vs the flat side facing the back. Thanks

You can install the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3" Diameter Hole - Black # HMAV2-AVT2 in whatever manner suits you best; some people install it so the half-moon is facing to the rear though most do it with the half-moon facing down. I have added photos that our customers sent in showing both instances.
This is one of those instances where there really isn't a "right" answer because you can install it wherever you think will give you the most ventilation and both corners have drain holes which means if it is angled to the back it will still drain water.
I have added a link to a video of this vent being installed for you to check out as well.
