Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2013 Ford F-150 Towing Sag or Squat
Question:
Hi all. I have a 2013 F150 and tow a TT that is 5800 dry, 7k or so loaded. I already have a Blue Ox weight distribution hitch but still have a bit more sag than Id like. Any suggestions as to suspension enhancement, new shocks, etc??? Thanks for the info!

Expert Reply:
For your 2013 Ford F-150, because you already have a weight distribution system, they next thing to do to reduce rear sag or squat is to add suspension enhancement.
If you have 2WD I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-116-47. If you have 4WD I recommend # SSR-117-47. These jounce style springs are progressive load support so the more weight added the more they support to reduce further sag. When not under load, they won't impact your factory suspension but they will engage as needed whether towing or hauling in the bed of your truck.
