7-Way Adapter for 2012 Jeep Wrangler for Tapping into Reverse Light Circuit
Question:
I have 2012 Jeep Wrangler with 4-pole and need to change to a 7-pole and 4-pole adapter. I need to know how the Auxiliary wire for the reverse lockout for trailer brakes is connected. is there a video? Thanks

The easiest adapter we have to convert a 4-way to a 7-way and 4-way would be with the # 37185 which you'd just plug your 4-way into and then run the purple wire to the reverse light circuit of your vehicle. There isn't a super easy way to do this but basically you'll need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2997 and test all of the wires that run to your reverse lights and use the circuit that has voltage when the brakes are applied to make the connection to.
