How Many 26 Inch Bikes Fit on 2012 Toyota Sienna Roof Rack?
Question:
I own a 2012 Toyota Sienna, I was wondering how many 26 bikes I can fit on the Sienna roof with the Upright Roof Bike Carrier Item #S64720. Im trying to determine how many of the #S64720 I should purchase. Thank you!

The Upright Roof Bike Carrier # S64720 will each take up about 10-12 inches each in bar space for a practical fit. Each carrier will take up about 7 lbs which you will need to add to the rack capacity along with the bike weight installed.
For your 2012 Toyota Sienna, the rails are typically 50 inches and have a total capacity of 165 lbs. So, I think you'd be comfortable with 4 bikes, but if you wanted things tight, you could fit 5. You can mount them forward or rearward alternating so the handlebars don't compete for the same space.
