What Color Is On the Underside of the Last Step for the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Steps
Question:
Looking to upgrade from a 3 step steel to a 4 step aluminum manual step system on my 2017 Forest River Wildcat due to the 8inch rise verses the 9inch I have now. wish there was a 7inch 4 step due to wifes climbing limits The first video on the LC432698 shows when folding up that there is nothing but the clean aluminum on the bottom of the bottom step. The second video show the bottom step to be black with a handle. If I change out, my bottom step will be almost on the ground as is and the handle will make it even closer. Is that a recent design? I think I can move the assembly up about 3/4inch and drill new holes, but wanted to clarify what I would be getting. Hope to someday use your lift kit to rise the trailer which will correct the issue, but getting wife in and out is a high priority for now. Thanks

I spoke with Lippert but they were not able to provide much information on the color of the under side of the last step on the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step part # LC432698. That said, I searched our reviews and the most recent ones show the underside of the last step being black.
There would not appear to have been any notable design changes.
