How To Carry Kayaks On a 2018 Ram 2500 with RamBox

I am looking for a rack to fit my ram 2500 with the Ram Box. I am open to all options. The rack is to carry a kayak. I want to use the receiver hitch to pull a trailer, so any options that dont use the receiver will work.

In order to haul kayaks on a 2018 Ram 2500 with RamBox you'll need to place them on the roof with a roof rack and roof mounted kayak carrier. The reason for this is that no one makes a ladder rack that will work with the RamBox.

For a roof rack, the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar part # RRVA150B-2, part # RRRLKVA, and part # DK043 is an excellent option. Then for a kayak carrier, you'll need to go with a j-style and for this I recommend the Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs part # S512-S512X.

The Rhino-Rack #RRRK083-4 replacement MasterKey lock barrels include 2 replacement 083 keys that would be the proper replacement keys for your existing 083 locks.

As long as the combined weight of your two kayaks is less than 165 lbs the Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs #S512-S512X it can carry two 13 foot long kayaks.
