Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller on 2005 Ford F-450  

Question:

Does harness 22550 work with tk90160 brake control.i have an 2005 f450 4x4 that was originally an ambulance now a flat bed.would the 22550 harness b the most simplest way to wire n 7pin plug/brake box.thanks

We have a way to install a 7-way and brake controller in your 2005 Ford F-450 that was once an ambulance but we don't have a custom install harness or 7-way for the vehicle so we'll have to hardwire in the wiring. First you will need a 4-way installed like with the part # 119250KIT and from there convert it to 7-way with the part # ETBC7 so that you can install the # TK90160. The 4-way kit provides all of the trailer lighting functions and then the 7-way is what provides the brake controller's power supply to the trailer brakes.

Since your vehicle is longer, you'll also want some additional wire # 10-2-1.
