Availability of Bike Rack for 6 Bikes on Truck, SUV, and Camper
Question:
I am looking for a 6-bike rack that I could mount in my truck, SUV and/or campers trailer hitch. Do you have anything that you recommend?

The only bike rack on the market that is able to handle up to 6 bikes is the Yakima HangOver # Y02485. This is designed for your standard mountain bike and comes with a 2" hitch receiver. It can accommodate up to 37.5 lb bikes and this rack weighs in at 76 lbs.
Yakima has deemed that this is compatible with passenger vehicles, but they have noted that if you use this on a towed trailer or motorhome then the warranty will be voided. This is due to the extra movement that happens at the back of an RV - it puts too much stress on the bike rack frame.
I recommend using the HangOver for your passenger vehicles and then the Swagman XP # S64940 4 bike rack for your use with your camper. Since 4 bikes is the most you'll be able to carry safely in a hitch mounted to a camper you'll need to transport 2 of the bikes inside the trailer or use an alternative bike rack like the Jack-It # LC429756 over an A-Frame trailer jack.
