How to Determine Correct Transmission Cooler for 2013 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Which transmission cooler to purchase? We have a 2013 Honda Odyssey and want to put a transition cooler in to help pull our pop up camper. There are so many options with good reviews. What’s the difference in the various classes? We would be installing it ourselves. Thank you.

So the most important thing to know about a transmission cooler is that the larger the cooler, the more effective it will be. The reason for that is you cannot overcool fluids so the more surface area the fluid can go through to get cool, the better. That is what the "Class" refers to as well with the coolers - the larger coolers are a higher rated "Class."
For your 2013 Honda Odyssey I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503.
This is the best option because it is the largest transmission cooler for your '13 Odyssey at 11" Wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep so it is going to give you the most effective, most efficient cooling power. I have added a link to a video installation of this cooler on a 2013 Honda Odyssey as well as a photo of the cooler on a '13 Odyssey.
Since you mentioned towing a camper, I'll list the recommended trailer hitch and wiring for your 2013 Honda Odyssey if you need those parts as well.
