Does the Shackle Angle have to be the Same Angle on both Sides of my Trailer Suspension

Question:

On one side of my camper the angle is about 70 degrees. The other side is about 40 degrees. Both are angling toward the axel as they should. Is this a problem? One side sits about 1/2 to 3/4th of an inch lower. Thank you.

Most likely you are fine and the difference in angle is due to the trailer sitting higher on one side than the other. I would still verify that the spring hangers are the same distance apart on both sides of the trailer, and that none of the other trailer components are not worn out.

For the 3-Leaf Spring # e57SR that you referenced the recommended distance between the hangers is 25-3/4 inches
