Replacement of Propane Hose From Tank to Regulator that Leaks

Question:

So it appears the leak is at the end of the hose. I went directly into the regulator, as you suggested, and I still heard the hiss of gas coming out. So, I believe all I need is a replacement hose. The one I have is very short (1.5 ft) and it reached around the bend just fine. No idea why the 90 degree elbow was there in the first place.

So it's the elbow piece that you need? Without knowing the fittings I can't be sure but since that should be the inlet to your regulator it probably has a 1/4 inch male fitting on the end going into the regulator and a 1/4 inch female on the other. We don't carry any 90 degree adapters with those fittings.

If those are correct you can probably bypass it if you can get the hose to connect directly to the regulator. Or if I'm wrong about the fittings let me know what they are and I'll see if we have what you neeed.

Well this just got easy. All you need is a hose with a POL that goes to your regulator. The regulator's inlet is a 1/4 inch FPT But what I recommend is using our 20 inch hose # 37207-30625 which has a POL one one end and a male inverted flare on the other. Then use # 204120-MBS which is an adapter that fits into the regulator and mates with the hose. POL hoses with the standard 1/4 inch MPT aren't as easy to find anymore so it's easier to use the adapter. The other advantage is when you make the inverted flare connections you don't need to use tape. You do still need tape when connecting the adapter to the regulator though. You want to to use tape for sealing gas like part # 37207-30025. We also have a compound sealant part # 37207-30555. Also, as you probably already know since you took it off, the POL is a left hand thread.
