Recommened Steps for Work Truck with Entry 52 Inches Off Ground

Question:

I have a door that is 52inch up from the ground. Door is 44inch wide. Needs to support 350 lbs. Was looking at TorkLift GlowStep Stow Nfoot Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear - 4 Steps and SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 26inch to 29-7/8inch RV Door Frames - Quad - Aluminum. I assume you might have more options. Please get back to me. Thank you.

I have a solution for you, but there aren't going to be any steps that will have a capacity of greater than 325-lbs that you're going to be able to use for something 52" off the ground. I'll also add that the TorkLift GlowStep # TLA7834 you mentioned aren't going to be tall enough for your truck since it is designed for entry heights between 31" and 42".

For something that tall off the ground you will need a 6 step setup like the TorkLift # TLA8006, which only has a 325-lbs capacity, but will be tall enough to work on your 52" entry door. These steps have a 27-1/2" wide base and 22" wide steps, which are some of the widest steps available and would likely be the best solution available for your particular application.

I've linked a brief review video of these steps for you to have a look at, as well.
