How To Use Saris SuperClamp EX 4-Bike Platform Rack on a 2017 Mazda CX-5
Question:
Could you please confirm that the Saris 4 bike platform will work with a 1-1/4inch receiver? I have 4 bike hanging Hollwood rack but it is very difficult to load newer mountain bike frames. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

In order to use the Saris SuperClamp EX 4-Bike Platform Rack part # SA4026F on a 2017 Mazda CX-5 you will need a class III 2" trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76138 is what I recommend.
The Saris MTR only works with class III 2" trailer hitches, not class I or II 1-1/4" hitches. There are no four bike platform racks that will work with a class I or II 1-1/4" hitch.
