Wiring Trailer Lights on Karavan PWC Trailer

Question:

Gentlemen I ran a new 4 wire piece down each side of the wishbone. I know the right side is green and brown and yellow - brown left side. The ground white wire was actually hooked to the right rear light . Left side only had brown and yellow , I will terminate the green and white wire for the left light. Question , is the one white ground wire on the right rear light enough ground? I have a 4 foot straight frame in front of the wishbone which I will splice in to the plug. Thanks for your help! Hope it sounds like I am doing this correctly.

You're on the right track, but the easiest and probably most secure way to run your ground circuit is to simply use the trailer frame for the ground. Ground your white wire to the trailer tongue as it comes off the trailer connector. Just use a ring terminal attached to the trailer tongue with a self tapping screw. Make sure the metal surface where you drive the screw in is clean bare metal. Each lamp will ground to the trailer frame either by a dedicated ground wire (it'll depend on the lamp) or by its mounting hardware being directly connected to the trailer frame.

If you take a look at the provided link, you can check out our trailer wiring article that has lots of information and wiring diagrams that you'll probably find helpful.
