Easy Way to go From 7-Way of 2020 GMC Jimmy to 4-Way
Question:
Good morning 2020 Suzuki Jimny rear wire configuration. What wire colors have What function, so I can simply connect a small utility trailer to my Jimny..... I installed a Hopkins 7 way and have to connect the wires to my car. I want to hook a flat 4-wire connector to my trailer and also have the 7 blade as an alternate. I realize some power wires will not be connected blue-purple The left taillight from left to right is 3 bulbs Brake /running light Blinker Reverse

The easiest way to go from the 7-way of your vehicle to a 4-way would be with a 7-way to 4-way adapter part # PK12716 which will just plug right into the 7-way and give you an active 4-way.
Otherwise to wire in a 4-way to your 7-way wiring you'd need a 4-way like part # 18252 and you'd then need to use the attached wiring diagram to locate the wire colors you need to connect to.
