How do I determine what spring bars do I need for my hitch?

There is a great way to figure this out. Basically you just want to determine your tongue weight and add that to whatever cargo you will have behind the rear axle. You then use this weight to determine which spring bars are right for your situation. You should choose a bar that has your tongue weight in the middle of its range. For example if your tongue weight is 890 lbs then I recommend Replacement Spring Bars for Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution System - 1,000 lbs TW part # BXW4007 because this has a range of 750 - 1000 lbs. of tongue weight. If you have more go heavier if you have less go lighter.
