Does a Blue Ox Weight Distribution System Set Up Different when Using Different Trucks

Do I have to set up any different changing from 2004 Ford 150 to 2004 Dodge 3500 diesel pickup

Expert Reply:
The only thing you may need to change is the amount of rise or drop needed to tow the trailer level when switching between vehicles using the Blue Ox weight distribution system # SC4200. You will just need to move the head up or down on the shank as needed to get the right height.
If you find that you need more rise or drop than the existing shank can provide, Blue Ox does offer alternative shanks which I have linked for you.
