Will a Fastway E2 Shank Work On An Equal-i-zer 12K Weight Distribution System

So Im looking at purchasing the 1,200lb 4pt equalizer hitch but I have a shank from my old camper that was used with a e2 hitch and was wondering if I can use that shank if I can get the ball at correct height?
