7-Way to Cigarette Lighter Adapter for Powering Air Compressor

Question:

Thx Jameson. Looks good. I have that connector, albeit a single outlet vs a double. My p450 Viair compressor has alligator clips to connect to 12v, not a cigarette lighter connector. So, I purchased the Wilson. (See pic). Its the 10A fuse in the Wilson that keeps blowing. Need a connector with more amperage.

Sounds like your air compressor is drawing more amperage than your adapter is rated for. A better adapter solution would be the part # 118019 which doesn't have the 10 amp restriction like your current adapter.

If you check out the review video I attached for this adapter you can see our installer use it to power a similar air compressor as yours.

I see what you mean now. So instead you'd want the Hopkins 12-Volt Power 7-Way Adapter # HM11147650 which plugs into a 7-way and comes with wiring that is rated for 25 amps.
