What Would Cause Brand New Trailers Brakes to Feel Weak
Question:
Our new 2020 Winnebago Micro Minnie has very weak brakes. They were almost non-existent, but I adjusted them and now they provide some assist with the controller maxed out. I want much more braking power. I want to be able to set the controller in the middle. Ideas?

How far did you adjust them? Since some adjustment helped noticeably it would seem that more adjustment would get you where you need to be. Typically you want to tighten them until there's a noticeable drag that you can hear as you turn the wheel by hand. It's also possible the brake assemblies are self-adjusting which would mean that with every application they'll click tighter and tighter until they are fully adjusted and would be as powerful as you'd need. What brake controller are you using? If you slide the manual override all the way do the brakes seem to grab harder? If you are still having problems email me back with the answers to the mentioned questions and I'll have a better picture of how to help.
