Will Motorhome Engine Brake Activate Demco SM99251 Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System

Installed on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawlk will the brakes be applied to the tow car when coach is going down a hill in tow hill mode? Does this system charge the battery?

Are you speaking of an engine or a jake brake?
The Stay In Play Duo will apply the dinghy's brakes when the coach brake lamps are illuminated, so if the 'Tow Hill Mode' Jake Brake or Engine Brake applies the coach's brake lamps the brakes in the Dinghy will be applied.
The Stay in Play Duo# SM99251 will NOT charge the battery. You'd need to use an umbilical from the RV that carries the 12-volt aux power circuit from the coach battery, such as # RM-146-7 with the appropriate circuit being wired to the dinghy's battery.
