Is Cover Such As Classic Accessories CA80116 Recommended For Covering Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
Do you recommend covering a 5th wheel hitch if left in the bed of the truck all the time or is it better not to cover it?

Expert Reply:
In a perfect world, the hitch would be removed and stored out of the elements when it's not being used. If a hoist is available, a lift bracket like # DM6100 can be used to safely lift the hitch.
If it isn't practical to remove the hitch between uses, a cover like the # CA80116 would work nicely for you. The cover will work with a hitch that has a 24 x 24 inch footprint that's up to 18 inches tall.
