Recommended Hitch and Towing Accessories for 2012 Honda Odyssey
Question:
What brand of tow bar, hitch size and light harness do you recommend for my 2012 Honda Touring Elite Odyssey van? Although my van is rated to safely tow 3500 lbs, I doubt that I would ever haul that much weight. Should is order a Class II or CLass !!! bar?

Due to the larger selection of available hitch mounted accessories like ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers, we always recommend choosing the Class III 2 inch receiver over the 1-1/4 inch Class II receiver whenever the choice is available. Because of this, I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver, part # 75270.
To complete your towing system, you will also need:
Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harness, part # 118521
Ball Mount, part # 2753
1-7/8 inch Trailer Ball, part # 19260
2 inch Trailer Ball, part # 19247
Pin and Clip, part # PC3
Locking Hitch Pin, part # e98882
I will link you to the products I recommended, as well as some install instructions and installation videos that you might find helpful.
