Will the Yakima JetStream Roof Rack for a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC-300 Work With Moonroof

Question:

Jon J recommended a roof rack for the 2019 MB GLC 300 part # Y00425does this roof rack still allow you to open the moonroof? The OEM part that MB quoted does NOT allow for open the moonroof which seems crazy to me.

The Yakima JetStream Crossbar System part # Y00425, part # Y00145, and part # Y06022 which is a fit for a 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLC-300 will allow you to open the moonroof. The factory roof racks are very low profile so they sometimes don't allow you to open the moonroof. There can also be an issue with wrap-around style accessories. The Yakima JetStream Crossbar System is an excellent option because you will have full use of your moonroof, you won't have to worry about wrap-around style accessories, and you will have much more crossbar space to use. If you want to ad locks then you also need the Yakima Same Key System part # Y07204.
